I’m a freshman at Stanford University, passionate about math and computer science. My research interests include understanding large online networks and developing effective software. Educating other students about these disciplines is also very important to me. Here are some highlights of my projects and activities:
-
Visiting researcher at Stanford University and Siena College. My work has been presented at the 2014 ACM CSCW and 2014 ACM SIGSCE, as well as other national and regional conferences.
-
Founded the Codester Project, an Android app that has taught the basics of computational thinking to thousands of students from elementary school to adults, and worldwide from India to United Kingdom.
-
Conduct research about large social networks, including understanding the properties of teenager networks on Twitter, and identifying the dark matter of the Internet.
-
Founded the Puzzle Hunt Project and led the Computer Science Caravan to teach young students about STEM fields.
-
Run a math blog for students to internationally collaborate on interesting, challenging math problems. This blog has viewers from 70 countries.
-
Excel in an abudance of selective math competitions, college courses, and summer programs as an active member of the Albany Area Math Circle.
-
